[Cross-Strait] China's Qinghai experiences Magnitude 6.3 earthquake at a depth of only 10 kilometers

A shallow earthquake occurred in China's Qinghai Province today (16th). The China Earthquake Networks Center reported a magnitude of 6.3 with a focal depth of only 10 kilometers. According to Reuters, data from the China Earthquake Networks Center shows that the earthquake occurred at 5:06 PM local time (same as Taiwan time), with the epicenter located in the high-altitude Haixi Prefecture. Following the main shock, several aftershocks occurred successively, one of which reached a magnitude of 5.0. China Central Television (CCTV) reported that no casualties or damage have been reported so far, and local authorities are assessing the actual disaster situation.
